Whether you are cleaning out your closet and want to sell some long lost goods or are just on the search for something that will turn heads at your next party, Leopard Lounge has the pieces to make your next fit iconic. Open every day from 10 am – 9 pm, make your first thrifting appointment at Leopard Lounge.
Pavement

Owned by the same folks that bring all the style to you at Leopard Lounge, Pavement is a massive resell store that has two locations in Austin and another in Houston. Our favorite location in Austin is the one on Guadalupe street as its about twice the size of the South Lamar location and has an entire rack dedicated to beautiful vintage pearl snap shirts! At Pavement you can come in between 10 am – 8 pm to pick through a selection of vintage and recycled clothes, every day of the week. What makes this store particularly enticing is that they will even repair clothes right on site, even using scraps of old clothing to create pieces for their “RePaved” clothing line. Aiding in keeping more clothes out of landfills, Pavement is the kind of store that does something good with every piece sold.
Stardust Vintage

Featuring vintage clothing from the 1950s through to Y2K, Stardust Vintage on Menchaca road is open every day except Thursday and keeps a revolving series of inventory provided by a variety of vendors that are constantly changing and adding to the mix. When you need a dress from the 60s or a jacket from the 80s, maybe even a rad band shirt from the 90s, you head over to Stardust between 12 – 7 pm on their open days. The friendly staff and awesome music playing while you get your shopping done is just a bonus.
Buffalo Exchange

All the way back to 1974, Buffalo Exchange has maintained a reputation for keeping a full stock of new, used and vintage goods throughout the store for men and women alike. Accessories, fashionable clothing from every era can be bought or sold to this classic location. Beginning with a small store in Arizona, this business has quite the history behind it’s virtually countless locations, which brings us to the Guadalupe street storefront right here in Austin. Unlike many other stores of its kind, you are able to come in to sell or trade your goods during all of their open hours rather than by appointment only. Visit them anytime from 10 am – 9pm Monday – Saturday, 11 am – 8 pm on Sundays.
Treasure City Thrift

Boasting themselves as the “most affordable thrift store in Austin” Treasure City Thrift has a wide selection of secondhand items that you can spend hours searching through. Make some time between 3-7 pm every day of the week to visit Treasure City Thrift on 7th st, you won’t regret it. Lower prices, educational material on zero waste and you can even find their unsold items at the Really Really Free market held on the last Sunday of every month at Chesnut Community Park.
Austin Antique Mall

When you want to spend an entire afternoon or maybe the whole day wandering through reused, recycled and antique stock, you set the day aside for a trip to the Austin Antique Mall on McCann drive. This massive venue houses over 100 vendors with clothing, trinkets, books and much more. You will want to come in when they open at 10 am and plan to stick around until 6 pm when they close. There is so much going on at the Austin Antique Mall no matter what day you show up that there is always an excuse to come back.
Thrift Town

Four locations throughout all of Texas means there must be something that keeps people coming back to Thrift Town. Located on Menchaca road, Thrift Town has been stocking thrifted items at reasonable prices since the 90s. From 10 am – 8 pm every day, you can visit this location and even save extra with their deals, Mondays add even more savings for senior citizens. Next time you have a reason to find yourself in Cherry Creek Plaza, you’ll do well to stop into Thrift Town.

Thrift Land

Well lit, intensely organized and a constantly changing sale rack with thousands of items at even more of a discount than their already low prices, Thrift Land at Stassney Square in Austin is one of four locations throughout the country. What makes this store particularly special is how much effort goes into making sure that the clothes, furniture, media and other sections are intricately arranged so that you can spend your time deciding what to buy, rather than having to dig through piles. From 9 am – 6 pm every day except Sunday (12 – 5 pm) you can browse with ease through Thrift Land.
Austin Pets Alive

Community is important to us here at Austin Pedal Party and shopping at Austin Pets Alive is a sure-fire way to give back to the very city we love. Two floors filled up with retro vibes and prices that feel like they are straight out of the 60s, Austin Pets Alive puts the entirety of their proceeds back into keeping homeless animals off the streets and put into loving households. The best part? This is only one out of three locations throughout Austin. Oltorf and 51st street also have storefronts, with something different to be found inside each one. Who knows, maybe you will want to make an entire day out of the experience and shop at all three sometime.
Prototype Vintage Design

Blue Velvet

Voted by Do512 as “The Best Place To Shop Vintage In Austin” Blue Velvet on North Loop Blvd is one of those stores that you will want to visit over and over again. Reasonably priced with plenty of women’s and men’s clothing options, Blue Velvet will make a regular customer out of anyone who decides to stop by. Known for their friendly staff and attention to detail in regard to every shopper, you will want to make a trip inside from 12 pm – 6 pm every day of the week.
The Next to New Shop

St. David Episcopal Church is the mastermind behind The Next to New Shop located on Burnet road. Shopping at this affordable, non-profit thrift store means that you are contributing to several local charities while finding wicked deals on gently used items. Consignment appointments are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 am until 12:30 pm. All employees are there on a volunteer basis as this shop is genuinely dedicated to donating most of their profits to charities that can use the assistance. Open Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm, there’s plenty to be found at The Next to New Shop.
Top Drawer Thrift

Through Project Transitions, Top Drawer Thrift gives 100% of their proceeds to benefit people living with Aids/HIV throughout Austin. When thrifting here in Austin, there’s nothing better than knowing that your money is going to an incredible cause and Top Drawer Thrift is the perfect place to spend. Closed on Sunday and Monday, you can shop at Top Drawer from 11 am – 5 pm every other day of the week. Furniture, vinyl and old radios sit along with a vast selection of clothing so you might not know how much you will want to take home from Top Drawer Thrift.
Room Service Vintage

Locally owned and operated, this vintage store holds seven vendors worth of knick knacks, furniture, clothing and just about anything you can think of. From 12 pm – 6 pm every day, you will want to take advantage of all hours that they are open throughout the week.
Charm School Vintage

High end vintage lovers will rejoice upon their first steps into Charm School Vintage on 11th street in Austin.
