The Backspace

From both locations in Austin, to the full-on mobile oven catering option, The Backspace provides more than just in house made pizza that tastes incredible. These folks pay attention to every detail. They put forth a real effort and it shows in each pie that gets served. There’s even fully private and semi-private dining allowed in house with the proper reservation. From Anderson Lane to San Jacinto Blvd, either of The Backspace’s two locations will take good care of you whether you’re hanging out around town or downtown.
Toss Pizzeria & Pub

Laid back, locally owned and true to Austin’s southern style roots, you can toss your meal planning responsibilities out the window at Toss Pizzeria & Pub on 1st street. Classic, 20 inch pizza selections like pepperoni and supreme sit alongside Texas influenced themed pies like pulled pork and smoked brisket at this easygoing location. Everything that can be made in house, is definitely made in house with the folks at Toss. This in house flavor goes all the way down to their iconic ranch dressing. Take your seat and watch through the kitchen window as the Toss chefs hand spin your high-quality dough. You can come in for dinnertime throughout the week when they open at 4 pm, or for lunch on the weekends when they open at 11 am, and stay until 10 pm every night.
Little Deli & Pizzeria

Freshly baked bread, high quality meats and locally prepared desserts all exist cohesively with a large choice menu of Jersey style pizzas at Little Deli & Pizzeria in Crestview Shopping Center on Woodrow Ave. Offering pizza by the pie or individual slice, you can’t go wrong with any of their menu choices since everything is prepared and cooked in house and baked on stone hearths. What started out as a little sandwich shop, Little Deli added pizza to the mix in 2009 and we couldn’t be happier. They are closed on Sundays only, but you can come have a meal any other day from 11 am – 9 pm.
Via 313 Pizza

Rated as one of Austin’s best spots for pizza, Via 313 has three homes here in Austin. Two are on 6th street (one inside of Star Bar) and another on Guadalupe street. Sitting on Guadalupe Street, The Parlor is closed on Mondays but ready to serve from 4 pm – 11 pm during the week and 2 pm – 12 pm on weekends. Ask your server about the Vegan and gluten free menu options as well. Make a note, the gluten free french bread pizza is pretty stellar. One step inside will have you falling in love with The Parlor’s overall vibe. This love will only be verified when you try their excellent food.
Side Eye Pie

Starting off with choices like salami chips and ending with a waffle for dessert, there’s more than enough to get pumped about before you get to the ever changing, seasonal veggie pizza. Combine the hand crafted, organic sauces with their organic ingredients and you’ve got the makings of an unforgettable meal. Dollar Slice Club

Another Guadalupe St gem, Dollar Slice Club provides great value for their already cheap prices by offering a 1$ slice membership. For only 5$ per month, you can enjoy 1$ slices of cheese pizza at Dollar Slice Club. Otherwise, you can purchase pizza per slice or take the whole pie. Barbecue or buffalo chicken, veggie and all of your favorite classics are worth a try with this spot but the plain cheese pizza is stuff of legend around the Austin area. Dollar Slice Club is open late, from 11 am – 12 am (3 am on the weekends) and makes for the best possible after club/bar spot for the end of any evening.

Favorite Pizza

With a name like that, you almost have to go test their challenge and find out if they really do serve your “favorite” pizza at Favorite Pizza on west 6th St. Open from 11 am – Late every night of the week, this is the restaurant that likes to stay open until they run out of customers, a lucky break for those insomniac pizza lovers out there. Midnight cravings aren’t so dependent on gas stations when Favorite Pizza is right around the corner. Ask about the Hey Butter, Butter pie if white sauce pizzas are what you enjoy most. Otherwise, test out the entire menu if you get the chance. Maybe Favorite Pizza will have your favorite sandwich or appetizer too.
